I don’t know how much you should charge for any given project without seeing the details, but I do have an idea of what your baseline fee should be.
If you’re not going to do the work for free, the minimum you should ever do a site for is $3500. That’s for a one-page site, including UX, UI, dev, and launch.
I don’t see how professional work can get done – in all the necessary areas – for any less than that. And if you look at the vast majority of freelancers or agencies charging below that threshold, they’re either starving or producing low-quality work for bottom-of-the-barrel clients.
Just set your minimum at $3500. If you can’t find clients who will pay that, you’re either talking to the wrong prospects or don’t know how to talk to prospects. Both of those things are fixable without charging poverty prices.
